Intro

Photography is some sort of communication. Each image is usually a story. A photo tells us about something we see in the frame in a context far beyond the frame.

There are many purposes of stories. But in the context of art and culture it’s (first of all) to make people feel different emotions. No matter what kind of emotion it will be, “negative” or “positive”, light or explosive, it always is based upon our personal experience.

Photography as a branch of visual art is very expressive “freezing” moments in time which our eye can’t notice. And therefore it shows us something which would otherwise passed by without almost any trace. Often these unnoticed moments are very beautiful.

In our everyday life we frequently ignore beauty of the world, even if it’s obvious, just because we have no time to stop and look around. Instead we try to fix almost every moment of our lives with our cameras. We do it in hope that within bunch of shots we could occasionally catch something we will be happy about. And it works! ☺ Or?..

“Diego Lince Photography” reflects such a beauty and returns it to the world. Will it be product of wild nature or human culture, it’s possible to find something bright, excellent and stimulating. Or calm, elegant and peaceful. And of course, beautiful. And hypnotizing. ☺ If you find all this in our photos, we approached a bit to our goal. Because we want to find and share those particular moments in life that makes other people at least just a little happier.

Work

As we see photography as a communication medium, there may be several different channels which could be used.

First of all, it’s nature. Landscapes, sky, sea, all elements in every state, this is what attracts people’s attention since ancient times. We draw our inspiration from nature too, and part of our gallery consists of photos of wild (or not so wild) nature.

The second source is, of course, human culture in broad sense. Arts, architecture, technology, science, all that people do can be motivating and inspirational. So other part of our gallery is concerned with such objects or activities.

And last but not least, people by themselves. People in groups and individual persons, working and relaxing, active and passive, actors and spectators, in the street and in a studio, doesn’t matter where and when, people are main attractors for other people. And the most expressive photos are the photos with people in frame. Even if there is nobody there physically, but their presence can be read clearly. That is why we enjoy photo sessions with any kind of models from ordinary people to professionals. And, of course, you can see the result in particular section of the gallery.
